ROAD TO PURPOSE

Throughout the month of June, I went for the LEADERSHIP DIARY TRAINING PROGRAM (LDTP), well it wasn't daily just Tuesdays and Thursdays and it got me too busy. There were assignments, community service, teamwork and other stuff which are time-consuming but it was worth sacrificing that time I had. The biographies we read, the books( As a man thinketh by James Allen and A girl's viewpoint by Zac Poonen), the numerous talks by inspirational and motivational people like Dr. Olivia Agbenyega, Moses Baffour Awuah(Chief, my muse), Arthur Nunu Amoah, Dr. Kwadwo Owusu Akuffo, Mrs. Theodora Oduro, Mrs. Rita Gyawu, the people I met, the counsellors, the list goes on and on and I wanna dedicate this article to all of them.
They brought my mind to the understanding of Jeremiah 1: 5 which says that "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart, I appointed you as prophet to the nations". This means we are all here for a purpose and we need to make it our sole priority to fulfill that purpose before we return to our heavenly place.

Okay, this is the second time I'm gonna mention about Mary Kay in my article. Well it's because I'm reading her autobiography but at a slow pace. I've taken weeks but I'm at page 71 but I know I'm gonna finish not now but later. Reading is not easy but gradually you'll like it and it will become your habit.

According to the book Mary Kay by Mary Kay Ash, there are specifically four kinds of people in the world:

1. Those who make things happen

I call them the makers and engineers of life. They cause things to come into existence and I believe I am a part of these people.

2. Those who watch things happen

These are the admirers, they sit at the sideline and tell us how beautiful things are. Trust me, without them nothing seem important because they bring out the wow-factor in everything.

3. Those who wonder what happened

I cannot really tell if these people are the dreamers, still drowning in their sleep or perhaps dreamland is such a nice place to be. The truth is, there is still some sleep in their eyes and they keeping asking whether everything is real.

4. Those who don't know that anything happened

Well, for these kind of people, will it be harsh to say they are lost? Absolutely not, because that is the truth. They are completely lost, blinded by situations and just tossed around by the winds of life.

For those who are ready to sacrifice everything to find their purpose in life, the decisions you make consciously and unconsciously may put you into one of these categories. But remember that this is just the road to your purpose, and until you find yourself among those in the first category, purpose has not been reached yet. Do not forget to embrace each of the other three stages when you get there because it is a process and you do not want to miss the steps. Sometimes you will be lost, other times you will be dreaming and you may also find yourself just admiring but our ultimate goal is to make things happen right? GOOD LUCK ON YOUR JOURNEY, FASTEN YOUR SEAT BELT AND OH! WHEN YOU SEEM LOST, ASK THE CREATOR, CHECK HIS MANUAL (BIBLE).

It's not an easy road, you can do it but at a point you'll need someone to help you, someone to believe you can, you can't spend your time looking for that someone. But you can pray to God to bring your helpers to you, also try to be someone's helper because I know it is in putting smiles on people's faces that you get smiles on your face too. Don't judge people based on appearance or status because your helper can be that poor man at church, or the lady who annoyed you the last time or that person you met for the first time and you were rude to. Be Humble and good things will come your way.
